A Little About Pombia
Pompia or Pombia is a fairly large and lively village that is located in the south of the Heraklion district. Most people will come through the village if they drive south from the town of Mires, which is five kilometers away, to the beach of Kali Limenes. Pompia has about a thousand inhabitants and there are a number of squares, kafenions, taverns, grocery stores, mini markets and various large and small churches.

Beautiful accommodation, delightful village and absolutely wonderful hosts. Perfect balance of traditional Greek Village life with all the amenities you could possibly want close by too! Friendly locals, shop, bar and restaurants in the village are perfect. If you do want to venture out to a beach or town they’re very close by. The accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean, spectacular views over the mountains and everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Liza and Vagelis couldn’t do enough for us either, always around and eager to help, perfect hosts! All booked up for next year and can’t wait! Would definitely recommend Cherry Tree Houses without question and will be our go to holiday destination for the future.
